Privacy, Safety And Design Film
PRIVACY FILM
Our privacy film service is a cost-effective way to increase privacy around your home or office while still letting in light through your windows. You can also use privacy film for safety to make large glass areas more visible. The privacy film is the ultimate to use on your windows whether you want to add some privacy or simply add style to your environment. The film doesn't block out the sunlight, instead it lets the light shine through. Our privacy film is also ideal to use on glass door panels, mirrored wardrobes, conservatories, shower screens and garden sheds. SAFETY FILM One of the causes of injury in homes and workplaces is human-to-glass impact. Children or adults can accidentally walk, run, or slip, into a glass window or door. |
Safety and security films are transparent, high efficiency micro-thin films that are bonded to the existing glass with a special adhesive. Glass and film are bonded together as one and a barrier is created on your window or door. Once treated, the film is difficult to detect and will comply with the regulatory safety glass standard at a fraction of what it would cost to replace the glass with safety glass.
While we cannot stop glass from breaking, with a safety film we can reduce the threat of glass fragments acting like a guillotine. No matter what the situation, safety film will help hold glass together and reduce the risk of injury in the event of an accident.
DESIGN FILM
With designed glass film, you have access to unlimited design possibilities on glass surfaces, from visual effects with depths of transparency to graphic patterns. ONE-WAY VIEW WINDOW FILMS
One-Way Privacy for daylight-facing windows is usually achieved with Solar Control Reflective Window Films, giving a mirror finish to the outside. For residential properties where strong mirror like appearance of the windows is not desirable we recommend using less reflective One-Way View Window Films – Neutral / Grey Window Films. These films are optically clear when looking out during daylight hours, but give privacy and a visually pleasing uniform appearance looking in. But this crucially depends on the balance of light between the two sides. The one-way effect reverses after dark so that you cannot see out clearly but people can see in. Where daytime privacy is provided by a one-way privacy film, night-time privacy would normally need to be provided by curtains or blinds. |

A so-called spy mirror makes it possible to observe a bright room from a dark room. At the same time, it is impossible to look from the illuminated room into the dark room. Only a mirror reflection can be seen in the bright place so that the observer located on the dark side of the spy mirror cannot be detected.
Due to this effect, such a spy mirror is also called a one-way mirror. This one-way mirror effect is based exclusively on the substantial difference in brightness between the two sides of the mirror. A transparent mirror from only one side is not feasible for physical reasons.
Therefore, it is essential for the desired function of a spy mirror that the lighting conditions between the place to be observed and the area from which it is observed differ significantly. For best results, the space to be viewed should be illuminated as light as possible while the observer room remains as dark as possible.

Surveillance Glass
A high quality, one way vision glass. Under specified lighting conditions it offers an effective means of providing undetected surveillance and high quality one way vision to achieve complete privacy. Surveillance Mirror is the ideal choice for supermarkets, computer rooms, banks or cash offices where specific areas need to be kept under observation or hidden from public scrutiny. It is also appropriate for patient monitoring applications in hospitals or residential care establishments. |

In order to maintain privacy in the observing area, the ratio of illumination levels between public and private side or observed and observing side must be 7:1.
